Our priorities for funding are:
For the charity to award a grant, the following criteria must be met:
The individual has been diagnosed with a neurological condition.
The individual must be experiencing financial hardship which limits their ability to pay for treatment and evidence it by way of bank statement or proof of benefits.
Grants of up to a maximum of £1,000 will be agreed to fund agreed recognised talking therapies
Grants of up to a maximum of £1,000 will be agreed to fund agreed recognised treatments and any other form of physical therapies.
If an applicant is not the patient, he/she must be the primary carer of a person living with a neurological condition and must provide evidence to support this including, but not limited to- i.e., a power of attorney.
The chosen hospital, clinic, or organisation delivering the treatment or therapy must be registered with the appropriate regulators and have a verifiable track record of providing such services required by the patient.
The applicant must attach an invoice produced by the hospital, therapist, or organisation providing the treatment.
All approved grants must be paid directly to the hospital, therapist, or organisation providing the treatment.
